I don't recall the licence being "expirable", but was it? Could someone please shed some light on this issue for me? Thanks!
The version of AntiVir that is bundled in SuSE, comes with a commercial (test) licence. This licence expires after some time (about six months, if memory serves). After the expiration date (which can be found by running 'antivir --version' on the commandline), the scanner will no longer work. If you want to keep on using the software *and* meet the requirements for a private, non-commercial licence, you may apply for one on http://www.free-av.com/ (the registration form can be found on the page under the 'Download' button). Note that you must runmode of the software from 'server' to 'workstation' then, since server licences are not available in this free version. Regards, Arjen
