Hello, I upgraded on mondag a suse 9.0 to suse 9.2 As a last step of the upgrade you use yast2 "online update" to get the last versions of the packages. I have another 9.2 system that I installed 1 month ago and that was also updated on monday thru yast2 "online update". And now I see differences: On the recent upgrade: a lot of php-module rpm are of a higher version for example: php4-devel-4.3.8-8.2 On the older install the version is: php4-devel-4.3.8-8 On both machines the main php rpm is: php4-4.3.8-8.3 The cause of this difference is that Yast "online update" and "Install and remove software" use different rpm's (NB the source for "Install and remove software" is the same ftp server as the one for "online update") Thru "online update" you get php4-4.3.8-8.3 but not php4-devel-4.3.8-8.2 or other modules Thru "Install and remove software" you get: php4-4.3.8-8.2 php4-devel-4.3.8-8.2 etc for other php-modules 2 differences: On the one hand "Install and remove software" uses lower php version php4-4.3.8-8.2 then what "online update" uses But the php-modules like php4-devel-4.3.8-8.2 are of an higher version in "Install and remove software" then what "online update" uses I checked these facts on suse ftp server and 2 mirror servers.
