That ASSUMES you have one for that version. Again, I am talking about a
client's server(maybe used just as a SAMBA server for a workgroup) and I may
not have done the intial install/setup.
Doesn't a rescue disk need the drivers for that machine and therefore be
made on that machine? This is not always possible because of a lack of
total control. In RH, you could boot into single user mode and be auto
connected as root without knowing the password.
