Hello list, i have a problem with the latest available security update for cups (1.1.15-132, on SUSE 8.1) We are using samba with cups as our print server, WinXP Clients send their jobs as raw data through cups to several HP-printers. This works over a year without any problems for us. The installation of update 1.1.15-132 cause the following problem: _Some_ documents, (but always the same) printed with MS Word are printed endlessly. I tested this error with several clients, different printers and different documents. (Appr. one of ten documents causes this behaviour.) I found one document that always triggers the process of endless printing. If i install the old cups-1.1.15-57 from the Install CD, everything is fine, after the installation of the mentioned sec update, the endless printing starts instantly. I didn't find the patch -132 in the list archives, what are the objectives of this update, and could it trigger the described problem? I would like to install the previous update cups-1.1.15-98, as i'm a little bit nervous about a known vulnerable service on my site.. Where i can find this patch?
