I have seen recent patches for the kernel, but afaik there has been no mentioning of these netfilter bugs... at least not on www.suse.de/de/security...

Any advise...?

You can find the kernel update packages for 8.1 on ftp.suse.com, where the other update packages are, too. 8.0, 8.0, 7.3 and 7.2 are still in the works... The updates for 8.1 and 8.2 will be offered by YOU as soon as we're done. Current problem: NVidia hardware acceleration kernel module. Roman.
