Unfortunately your damn postfix patch overwrote my old config and now seems not to work with rbl_maps and amavis. My clients nerved me the whole day and I'm allready confused! Any tips?
Philippe
next time have a backup of /etc handy :) and if you change config files on your own, tell SuSEconfig about that. quoting /etc/sysconfig/mail:
# # If you don't want to let SuSEconfig generate your # configuration file, set this to no # MAIL_CREATE_CONFIG="no"
I HAD this set and the update DID overwrite main.cf !!! (But I was warned and had a very actual backup). And it killed /etc/aliases.db and /etc/aliases.d/mailman.db what caused postfix not to deliver mails.
I had the same setup, but it did overwrite it as you described (responsible admins don't use SuSEconfig anyway ...).
Why in the world are those updates so buggy in the present time?
If you would like to have things changed in configs then please post this via mail to root withinthe update!
Dazed and confused

P.S.: I have made my backups, but it would be nice to be informed, if my custom stup is changed or better has to be changed! Anyway i use different security settings for postfix, than SuSE!
