Hi all,

pardon my ignorance, I don't seem to be able to find the relevant info:

1) is the kernel update necessary for Alphas (i.e. SL 7.1)?
2) if so, is there an update available that I am too stupid to find
   (there's nothing in ../axp/update/7.1/kernel/* )?
3) if it is necessary to update and there is none yet, when can we
   expect one?
