Hi Fiorenza
I would take a look at Perdition, however be aware that it is not simply a
security proxy, but rather a POP3 proxy that does load balancing, SSL/TLS
wraping, LDAP backends etc.
I think you will find that the code is pretty tight however, as the author
Horms (a friend of mine) is very wary of buffer overflows etc.
