Nothing similar, but use the rpm subsystem to find out what's wrong:
rpm -Vva
will check all files in the rpm database for changes, especially if they
are missing.
Anyway, you can always use yast (Yast1) to install yast2 packages (which
is what you will do anyway to get it running again). Alternatively, use
the rpm command directly to install the yast2 rpms (from the yast1 series
on the CD):
rpm -ihv yast1/*.rpm
