Spiekey, Although it is not wrong in my opinion to ask just about any question. This is defidently the wrong forum. I would suggest something like suse-linux-e or somewere like that for next time. To get the settings you want you need to look at the /etc/profile file. This file is where all those wonderful items that make using SuSE so nice are located. I LOVE the handling of the suse shell, exspecially the PageUp one, And if u typed in ifconfig 100times and u press the arrow up key, it´ll just give u the "ifconfig" once.
I have a slack box here and i don´t like it, i miss these features!!
