I read that - PGPnet is not available for Win2000
I already installed it and played around with it. Get a demo from nai.com (IIRC).
- version 1.4 of IPSEC (which is on the 7.0 distribution) should be patched to work with PGPnet.
"may be patched"? If have a SuSE 7.0 too, and both PGPNet and Win2000 "native" IPSec was able to do VPN - but I used shared secrets only. Well, a long shared secret is not that bad - and it's working well.
Are both statements correct?
No.
Does anyone have experiences with other ipsec clients than PGPnet for Win2000?
Win2K itself is able to do IPSec, but it is not able to use dynamic IPs (you have to change the local IP whenever it changes). So not usable for mist laptops...
