Hi, maybe you should enable in the configuration of IE: use passive mode for ftp. It is located in the browsing options of the IE-options. MfG. Stefan Walther stefan_walther@gehag-dsk.de dienst.: +4930/89786448 Funk: +49172/3943961 Hai list, i have an linux box with 2.4.4 Kernel und iptables 1.2.2. There are no rules implemented only SNAT or Masquerade ( i have both tested). Everything works fine. But IE5.0 can not connect to any FTP Server (Error 500 Command error). Other browsers (mozilla, opera, netscape) are working very well. It seems to be a problem with passive or active mode. Whats wrong?? regards from germany Andreas Wahlert -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: suse-security-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands, e-mail: suse-security-help@suse.com
