I am having a similar issue, well not to similar, HOW do I initialize
(start) tripe wire?  My tripwire info is located in /var/adm/tripwire/bin
and the config is in /var/adm/tripwire  That's it clean and simple

I have problems with tripwire, I try to secure my binarys with tripwire but
when I start tripewire to initialize the Database I get this error Message:

I have SuSE Linux 7.1 for Alpha, Kernel 2.4.4 and tripwire 1.2 (patchlevel
2).
Any ideas?
