I'd stick to GnuPG for a variety of reasons, not least of which Zimmerman has
left NAI and they won't be showing all the code anymore.

Hello

I wanted to compile the sourcecode of pgp 6.5.8 from http://www.pgpi.org/products/pgp/versions/freeware/unix/6.5.8/ - but it failed with this error:
/usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lPGPui collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [pgp] Error 1
(system SuSE 7.1, Kernel 2.4.2)
I've tried this many times with SuSE 6.4/7.0/7.1 and I get similar error messages and many others. No help from .....
or the site maintainer.
Any help greatly appreciated :))
Thanks
