This is all most certainly correct. It is part of the reason why there is an update package
ftp://ftp.suse.de/pub/sparc/update/7.0/sec1/openssh-2.3.0p1-0.sparc.rpm
on the ftp server. The other reason is a whole set of security problems in versions before 2.3.0.
Well, I was mistakenly using ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/linux/suse/sparc/update/7.0/sec1/ as my primary download location, as I was under the impression SuSE preferred that people didn't download from their link. The website also states that ftp.gwdg.de is the "primary" mirror, so I expected it to be up to date.. -Nix PS. The correct url for the file is: ftp://ftp.suse.de/pub/suse/sparc/update/7.0/sec1/openssh-2.3.0p1-0.sparc.rpm
Any chance of a notice when a new rpm is available?
