Hi susesec!
I want to do remote-loggins, I mean, a centralized system which involves a machine getting logs via syslogd using remote funcionality. I've been reading some little info and it seems that this method is very insecure (at least via standard syslogd -the one which comes which current Linux distros, Suse included-). I need to implement it in a secure way. Any ideas?
Has somebody tried the SecureSyslog from Core SDI? Any other program??
I'd like to read from all of you :-)
Secure-Syslog no longer exists, it's now "modular syslog". Of course the LSKB covers a whole bunch of options for this. http://securityportal.com/lskb/kben00000036.html http://securityportal.com/lskb/10000000/kben10000027.html You know... when you're looking for security related software the LSKB just _might_ be a good place to look. Oh hell I'm wasting my typing :P. Kurt Seifried - seifried@securityportal.com SecurityPortal, your focal point for security on the net http://www.securityportal.com/
