Hi All
Freeswan have released Ver 1.6. In their "BUGS" file they recommend the
following:
<snip>
* Installing a new FreeS/WAN on top of an old one doesn't update kernel
configuration options, so if new options are added, you need to start
with a virgin kernel instead.
</snip>
I'm running SuSE 6.4 Kernel 2.2.16 Intel.
With FreeS/WAN Ver 1.3 which comes with SuSE
Question 1
With regards to SuSE 6.4 how would you start with Virgin kernel?
Do you just uninstall the FreeS/WAN Package.
Question 2
Is SuSE going to be releasing a FreeS/WAN 1.6 RPM in the future?
All Tips Welcome
Thanks in advance
