Can someone tell me why "/usr/lib/secchk/security-control.sh daily" would be doing strange things... (See ps list below)
I am using seccheck-0.9-35 on SuSE 6.4 with all available security options and updates. This machine also runs squid, sendmail, smtpd,AVP and BIND
Any help would be appreciated

Hello Pete, I had the same problem with the script. It got caught in an endless loop. I asked Marc Heuse about it and this was the following was his suggestion. It works fine now. Quote remove the manpath line in /etc/csh.cshrc the bug us in man.rpm which is activated by installing the aaabase security update.
