Hi, I spent a good part of this week reading documentations of BitBucket REST APIs, in order to extend git-review to work with BitBucket. It occurred to me that the BitBucket community is much smaller and less active than Github’s. I’ve spotted quite a few errors in their API specification after trying everything out in the console; and there isn’t any existing gem that is being actively maintained and supports functionality such as get/send pull requests. Hence, a lot of low level stuff needs to be handled inside git-review itself. I managed to get pull requests retrieval working, and converted the json response into git-review’s internal representation of the pull request object. Next week, I will work on modifying the current Github pull request manipulation methods (such as displaying) so that they are compatible with BitBucket’s pull requests as well.
