My report is now online.
The marketing materials look good :-) but let me add some notes about them nevertheless: (based on the photos) - posters: as you already noticed, the openSUSE logo should be a bit bigger. - block notes: IMHO A5 size would be better than A4 (hey, we have computers if we need to store bigger texts ;-) - stickers: yes, transparent background would be very welcome (and the geeko keyboard stickers sound really promising - I hope we'll have some of them at LinuxTag ;-) - The table cover is not too visible on the photo, but I'd say the important part is what is at the front side. The idea of having a big geeko on the front sounds good (and saves us some posters ;-) On the table plate, smaller design items might make sense so that at least some of them are fully visible. (The big geeko will always be partially hidden by stuff on the table.) - from your wishlist, I'd love geeko pins most ;-)
Hi, just a small add on to Bruno's booth material report : Yes Christian, the geeko on table cover was nice, but most of the time it'll be hidden by other stuff (I tried to save him from being completely hidden) about the posters : the cube written for ex, is a great poster- I like it +++ It has its identity alone ... but when he is in the booth = system - community lol, he loose his effect (according to me - design is one of the most subjectiv things, no ?) Anyway, I suppose that it's a marketing base, and each booth holder will choose which poster fit better to the environment, wall or room. The "booth look" is important ... as it stays the first visitors'impression (who can change later with technic aspects, or human relations ...). for example : https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/113385548251515365143/albums/5975449985930381729/5975460923848071378?pid=5975460923848071378&oid=113385548251515365143 just a way to go on creativity, a color is great ... blue, plushes (they had free small keyholders + bigger elephant plushes to sell .... + free pins and pens, t-shirts, hats, stickers, documents etc etc oh and the big human blue elephant that everybody did a picture (if this is not marketing, I don't know what it is) ... but did you just noticed that the table cover are not blue ? Blue on blue, or green on green has no contrast, no contrast => less impact, As a last spontaneous point, I would say that information (reading ++) is ok, but small visit cards or pen with just www.opensuse.org (or QR code somewhere on a poster or table) Have a nice day ;-) tc Françoise Wybrecht (PS : Morgane Marquis is an virtual avatar name) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
