The 1-year+Tumbleweed idea may just be the perfect solution for many people. It may also free us up as a Project to focus on promoting other benefits of openSUSE beyond just the distro. We do a pretty piss-poor job of promoting things like OBS, OpenQA, etc. They just don't get the limelight like distro does.
Bryen, Marketing wise, a service like openSUSE Linux Distribution is meant to contemplate, not only the main part of the service, the linux distribution itself, but also all the support services, which should include: - community support (wiki, irc, etc) - OBS software distribution capabilities - etc etc So, in my reading of your words; the root of the problem is actually a matter of concept and not of efforts (which no one can deny that most people do 100% and then some more).
