What's the *simplest* solution to the *immediate* problem that will
meet the deadline?
We need something in place that won't lock us out between 12.2 and the
next release. We need something that provides a minimum of hassles in
a world where nearly everybody uses something other than openSUSE
already.
We've got more time than that - until 12.3, the main impact will be on
newbies and Win8 dual-booters buying new Win8-compliant hardware. Does
anyone have an ETA for Win8-compliant hardware on the shelves at
Mediamarkt?
