The slippery slope here isn't participation in the blackout. TheSo when is www.opensuse.org going to protest against Chinese

freedom to participate in an OSS project because they can't access it -
and have no recourse to resolve it. No trial, no jury.
internet censorship? Your argument applies there just as well (and
probably in numerous other cases).
