Hi All,
Google Code-in will come to an end in a few days. I would like to take the opportunity to ask feedback from people. We can discuss it from here. Personally for me, the questions that I had like to ask are this 1. How do you think Google Code-in helped us? 2. Where are the areas we can try to improve and how can we improve?
A very special Thanks to Matt, Vincent, mentors and students who made this possible.
Congratulations to all of you that made this happen. Personally, I had many translation tasks, surveys about openSUSE. Translation tasks helped us to complete some sections we didn't have time or the clear mind to translate before the release of 12.1. Of course now we have to review them more carefully for spelling and grammar mistakes. We're working for 12.2 already. Regarding the surveys, there were some great conclusions about the distro and the community. I'll try to get all the answers, delete some entries that students complete the questionnaire just to have the proper amount for their task, and make the total conclusions. Maybe then I can answer better your questions Manu. Regarding my country, we need a better promo plan to schools (although it's difficult for us to go and talk to students directly due to the organization of the educational system). Maybe write some more to the press, where the parents read, so they can push their kids to participate. As far as I know, Greek students were only translating (in Gnome too). How can we help them do some coding? Maybe this way they can join and help our community. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
