Today I've seen that our beloved mirror here in switzerland is killing openSUSE a bit early
http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp//mirror/opensuse/update/ miss 11.3
http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp//mirror/opensuse/distribution miss 11.3 and 11.4
Can someone in the project could ask why ?
They sync the 160GB module. Not all mirrors have unlimited space for all the things they mirror. And I tried to pick a hot set of 160GB and I don't think 11.3 and 11.4 installations are hot these days. For /repositories I left 11.4 and 12.1
Greetings, Stephan
Thanks Stephan for the explanation, I know that they should have plenty of space (mostly sponsored by my taxes incomes :-) and for Ubuntu that seems unlimited :-(
What worry me is the fact they kill the update repo which is kinda bad anyway.
openSUSE dropped the 11.3 update repo from the 160G module, because it's _HUGE_ - I have on my TODO a better check on hot files, so that mirrors can mirror the hottest 160GB, that might mean the latest updates only. So far I need to decide on a directory level what to take.
