Hi,

Google approved yesterday our participation to the Google Code-In
program:

 http://google-melange.appspot.com/gci/homepage/google/gci2011

For those who didn't follow our application process for GCI, let me
quote the website:

"This is Google's contest to introduce pre-university students to the
many kinds of contributions that make open source software development
possible. It runs from November 21, 2011 to January 16, 2012. We invite
students worldwide to produce a variety of open source code,
documentation, training materials and user experience research for the
organizations participating this year."

We organize our participation on the wiki:

  http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:GCI

We already have a list of tasks, but we should keep adding items there
so students have a large choice of tasks (and also because we'll get
more contributions this way ;-)):
