Yes, you could order promo DVD's and we'd trow in some stickers and such
too. see software.opensuse.org/promodvds for how-to.
If you want to print some stuff to hand out, send me a personal mail and
we can figure out together what makes sense and if I can re-imburse you.
Note that it's really not economical for us to send less than 100 DVD's
but I'm sure you can hand out that many over the next 8 months, right :D
If you plan to go to a conference and man a booth, you could simply
order in advance and start handing out a bit now...
If you can't really use that many, you'll have to try and get some at a
local event which has openSUSE people who did order some stuff.
Hope it answers your question :D

I know this isn't the proper place, but is there anyway I can get
some promo stuff (media) to pass on around on work (most of the
native population uses RHEL or Fedora), but it's nice maybe to
have some openSUSE stuff to hand out.
After release there will be promo DVDs, if you mean something like
that.
what about that?
