Hi Greg, hi all,
What include the content of /etc/SuSE-release in package openSUSE-release for Tumbleweed?
Right now, nothing.
How can I identify openSUSE Tumbleweed in future via /etc/SuSE-release?
Why would you want to? What is that going to accomplish?
For example (64-bit): # cat /etc/SuSE-release openSUSE Tumbleweed (x86_64)
For example (32-bit): # cat /etc/SuSE-release openSUSE Tumbleweed (i586)
So, what would the VERSION field be in this file? And again, what use would this be? What tools use this file? I think it should stay as-is as the "base" is still 11.3 (right now) and will be 11.4 in the future. Again, think of Tumbleweed as "just another repo I added to my zypper list that happens to have a whole lot of updated packages in it". thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
