The problem has been fixed, the change reverted.

But the biggest issue is that the changes were not announced.

It was a bug, if anyone would have known it, to properly announce it, it
wouldn't have happened in the first place...

*This* time was a bug. The problem is not just *this* instance, but
*all* of the instances of changing repositories, disappearing or changing
accresses. A central location needs to exist with notice and history so
the changes may be followed.
