This is *NOT* a good way to go.
Anybody should be aware of the decision making way in time to get involved and the result should be largely spread after the decision is made on a way anybody can be aware of.
We *have* a way to do this, it's the opensuse-announce list.
So any discussion that seem to lend to a decision should be annouced in this list and any way the result is publicized annonced there also.
And, of course, any permanent change should be written down in the wiki and nowhere else
of course this is only my own opinion :-) which is not the worst ;-) M
