I know a little about my local LUG (ale.org), and below are answers
for it. (note, I'm not subscribed to marketing, so expect my reply to
there to bounce.)

Hi All,
We all have LUGs in our region at least most of them must be having
one I suppose. My question is
How do LUGs promote linux all over the world?

Ours does NOT do their own install fests.

They do notify the members of other people's install fests and I think
some of the members routinely go to those.

We have a local opensuse ambassador, so if he were to setup an install
fest, he could post to the LUG and look for volunteers to help provide
support.

What all things does the LUGs take under consideration?

I don't understand the question.

If LUGs are choosing a distro of your choice, how do LUGs
go about it?

Ours doesn't do that. Last year we did have 3 opensuse presentations
I think, but its not because the LUG specifically asked for them.
Instead they were proposed by members, etc. and the LUG just accepted
them. As an example I presented on OBS / Studio.

Our LUG has 5 or 6 opensuse users that I know of.

I'm a team member, there's the ambassador and the rest are normal users.
