I have tried to refrain from joining this bru-ha-ha but this is the first 
thing I've really read from you that actually seems to belong in the 
discussion about PROJECTs and related to strategy that can be effected by the 
community.

To wit:  "They need to rethink the process and improve it."

To some degree, you are correct in your observation that "They cram in so many 
changes between releases, they don't have enough time to sort things out."

I'm not sure what the biggest problem is:  Too many changes, or the bug 
handling procedures (Bugzilla, et al).  I do think this is a valid area of 
discussion, albeit, not in *THIS* thread, but I do think it should be a 
PRIMARY point of discussion as strategy for the future is developed.
