That's not strictly true. Some of them are paid to work on Ubuntu, and
that work filters back to Debian. So indirectly, some of them are paid.

Now, if you're asking what are the goals of the openSUSE project, then
that's what the Strategy team is working on right now. They should have
something ready soon :-)
Of course, if you have other ideas of goals, please share them.
Some people think trolls are anyone who says anything they don't like.
There may be a clinical term for that. If I can't argue without being
called a troll, then it's not a community, it's a clique.
