A couple of days ago I responded to a message from Henne Vogelsang and
just some minutes ago I responded to Wolfgang Rosenauer in the thread, "
Can we support for-profit organizations to make money? (Was: Ubuntu One
Music Store).
All the messages, even though re-FWDed, came back as-
I'm sorry to inform you that your message could not be delivered to the
list. Your mail was rejected because it matched a rule set up by the
list administrator.
This list does not allow:
* HTML mails
* Attachments
* Mails from other lists
Now, neither of my responses met the above conditions - I simply "replied to
list" in Thunderbird (3.0.2. - oS 11.2).
However, my response to Vincent Utz, posted a few minutes ago after my response
to Wolfgang, got thru to the list using the same, identical, procedure.
So, what is going wrong with the mail server for opensuse-project, or the mail
clients used by either of the above gentlemen?
(Yes, I know that I have to report to the person in control of this mail list
but when I tried to do this all I got was a normal blank e-mail screen and at
the moment I am not in the mood, mentally or physically, to go thru all the
b*s* of quoting/copying/pasting all the error message(s) crap :-( . So sorry.)
Should anyone know why this list rejects perfectly legitimately responded to
mail I would appreciate it.
