Clayton,
You have to configure Hermes in order to get OBS and OpenFate
notifications. And I think they are just recently put in a OpenFate
screening team.
So you should log into the OpenFate system then click on the large
Hermes icon on the left and set things up the way you want them. Then
you can set yourself to follow items like the ones you posted above.
I'm not sure many openfate users really appreciate that yet.

I would like to vote +1 for Clayton argument and thinking about create
an openFATE for 11.3. It's not about the simply or easy way to do the
above but LiveUSB is much needed for Netbook installation or some
installation without CD/DVD. Yes, these are various others method but
and integrated LiveUSB creator would give us (openSUSE) a great
feature to end user.
Sadly, I have nothing experience in Linux programming so I could not
help much regarding the request.
I always forget about openFATE. Searching there I found:
https://features.opensuse.org/308354
and
https://features.opensuse.org/308352
and
https://features.opensuse.org/308385
All of which are basically dead... or more likely lost in the shuffle
and no one is aware they've been proposed :-(
