Hi people i have a question for you:

what kind of office software should lxde provide on default 11.3
installation?

*Word processing/spreadsheet & co.*

OpenOffice.org (the best Office application but definetly not
lightweight). XFCE suggest to install it

or

Abiword and Gnumeric (never used before so i don't know how good they
are now, but they _ARE_ lightweight)

*PDF*

epdfview (imho better) or xpdf

*Mail client*

i have no idea what provide here..

*Money*

should we provide gnucash? probably too many gnome dependencies?

I was reading your mail above. So as you were requesting some ideas for LXDE
may be this could be a few help for your development.

-As a browser Midori http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midori_%28web_browser%29
-Abiword is lightweight word processor commonly used on light desktop
enviroment
-Bean Sheet is lightweight spreadsheet java based

I hope my small contribution give you some ideas for the LXDE project.
