I would like to see your opinion on naming of "openSUSE Medical Team" ?
In English that I know term "Medical Team" implies doctors and nurses as a members, and the team activity is, health related, activity of doctors and nurses, nothing close to software development, collection, packaging etc.
I would like you to consider this naming to be corrected, if necessary, before it is linked all over the web and hard to change without producing a lot of broken links to our web sites which is not popular anywhere, which can have negative impact on a openSUSE Medical project http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE-Medical
"openSUSE Health" sounds a lot more appropriate.
Or "openSUSE Healthcare" perhaps
openSUSE Medical Team is actually a fantastic marketing name. It implies positively that we're all in this together and that openSUSE is a part of YOUR team. My thoughts behind the Name was marketing related. I've just would like to let the doctors show, that we're workin' on their needs. The second thought was: I need a short name and nice to keep in mind. So my first choose was: Medical Team. And the name was media active. All have accepted our name.
But if it's not so good, then we can recreate our name (and our Wikisite :-( ). -- Sincerely yours Sascha Manns openSUSE Member openSUSE Ambassador openSUSE Marketing Team openSUSE Build Service Web: http://saschamanns.gulli.to Blog: http://saigkill.wordpress.com ClaimID: http://claimid.com/saigkill -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
