The first option mentioned by Gerald ("openSUSE Server Edition") is
something
that could be easily done by a small number of people. IMO it would
be taking
the existing packages, creating a media and perhaps adjusting the
installation
work flow and adjusting patterns - and then testing for sure. This
would be a
one-time effort for each release and something a couple of users are
interested in as well,
