Actually as it occured to me that virtually all SLES/SUSE development takes place in Nuremburg and southern germany, we could call it Black Forest Enterprise Linux (BFEL).
NOEL - Nuernberg Open Enterprise Linux ?
That is not true. We have the build farm in Nuernberg but engineers are world-wide - and I expect that more than 50 per cent are not in Nuernberg. And if you add all the Open Source developers working on projects that end in distributions, it's also different.
Nevertheless, using such a name is fine but I would state it differently.
Btw. Black Forest is 200miles away from Nuernberg. Frankonia is the region Nuernberg is in,
Good point. A reference to Franconia would be great. Just call it Walberla 12.0
cheers, JW-
