I have no Novell certifications, just regular openSUSE account and bugzilla account (same ID, associated to this email).
OK. I don't work with the systems (other than the certification system), so there may be others; I just wanted to disclaim that there may be places you appear in our systems that we legally have to preserve records for for various reasons. :-)
That's OK. I know of the record obligations you have for certain information.
Just a suggestion for the future: it would be a lot easier to add a "Delete account" functionality to the Novell login page however, as offered on many websites that require authentication.
I have passed that suggestion along. I also found it odd that there wasn't a way to remove an account through the website - even though as a Novell employee, I'd rather see people stay with us. But I understand the desire and that there may be reasons to do so that don't mean "I'm leaving you". :-)
Thanks. The lack of this functionality surprised me too. I also reported it using Novell website feedback feature some time ago, but I didn't receive any reply. Without any intent to be rough with you, who are actually helping me in this, the reason of this request, however, is exactly "I'm leaving you", after years. The motivations are long to explain, and they have a lot to do with poor decisions regarding openSUSE, the recent tendency of some official community representatives to invite people to "stay quiet" when discussing of never fixed problems and so on. At this point I don't think the details are of any interest to anyone however, surely not for me, so I won't annoy you with them. Thanks for your help. I'll clean my personal page on openSUSE, remove my OBS repository and send you my email address.
