No, my post is based on my experience in trying to have issues addressed 
with gsynaptics and encfs prior to the release of 11.1, and the 
discussion that ensued around the zypper logfile creation/logrotate issue 
that is in discussion.

This is good to know.  Most of the other things I said in my original 
reply here are in my other reply, so I won't repeat myself except to say 
that I mean no disrespect to the openSUSE team - just sharing my 
perceptions, which seem to be shared by others.
