Maybe, but his post is based in the assumption that we do only security updates for 11.0. This is simply untrue, if an update goes out to 11.0 or not is decided on a case by case basis. Plus, if the same update also goes to 11.1 chances are very high that it also is released for 11.0. The work is already done anyway.
