Is there any reason not to participate? Lack of tutors?
I'm not qualified as a tutor for a programmer, but can you explain
what the organising implies?
I have several ideas for projects:
- Yast module for a DLNA server and media server solution
- Automatic package approval and management system for a rolling
release version of openSUSE. A system that puts voted packages in to a
"rolling repository". (No not Factory :-) ) Then the not so adventorus
can subscribe to this repository and get fairly new SW without waiting
for the next distro release.

I just saw some comments that a new Google Summer of Code'2009 (http://code.google.com/soc) will be accepting project proposals in a week or so.
I consider last year's participation great and would like to get your feedback for this year: * Shall we participate again? * Already anybody volunteering as tutor? * Who will organise GSOC for openSUSE?
