What else than the generic "Please note that due to shipment (Germany -> US), 
custom etc. and the holiday season openSUSE 11.1 boxes for North America

If you want to know something more specific contact "Digital River" or who-
ever is handling your shipment. Maybe also someone from some Novell sales
department who is in contact with them knows but it's holiday time and that
someone is very likely not on this list.

To demand an explanation or even "an apology from the openSUSE project" when 
it's not involved in the box production and even less in its distribution is 
IMHO kind of odd.
