openSUSE should have package somekind of a testpool where adventurous minds could try stuff and rate/send easily feedback on them (There is Factory but how really wants to be that adventurous in a life day to day?). Biggest problem on build.opensuse.org it is so fragmented. Nowone really knows otherones packages if he doesn't check search and then you don't really know qualify of those packages you install.
Fedora does great job. They allow packagers to submit their packages for review and after a success, package is available through "fedora" repository.
It's very good, but doesn't work fast, because they don't have many reviewers for RPMs ;) .
See http://en.opensuse.org/Contrib for openSUSE version of user contributions. It is in the very beginning and need for helpfull hands. -- Regards, Rajko --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
