Yes, you can even use the nice graphical installer via ssh -X :-)

Call "grubonce" in your existing system. It doesn't have a manpage 
AFAIK, but is easy to use.

Of course, you can also change the default grub entry to point to the 
installation, but this makes things more difficult if something doesn't 
work.
