Call "grubonce" in your existing system. It doesn't have a manpage
AFAIK, but is easy to use.
Of course, you can also change the default grub entry to point to the
installation, but this makes things more difficult if something doesn't
work.

AFAIK, I can only start the default grub entry (I don't see any grub...
boot menu !!)
but having a backup start is nice. I should be able to setup a backup
system of my own in some partition and use the possible choice of
starting system (like the kde reboot options, I don't know how this
feature is called)
