It may not be enough said that gmane forums are now opensuse compatible (they where not some time ago). This is a very easy and good way to access mailing lists.

I think rather that the existing community forums do well enough
already. It was debated to create web forums, and we decided against
fragmenting the existing webforum community.
who is "we"? I undertood exactly the contrary at the end of the discussion. (Sonja writing) - do notice I dislike forum myself, so I'm not involved in lobying for them...
There was a short discussion on #opensuse-chat, and some users seemed to
be interested in forums synchronised with the mailing lists.
It may not be enough said that gmane forums are now opensuse compatible (they where not some time ago). This is a very easy and good way to access mailing lists.
