[opensuse-project] Bug-filing granularity

When filing my first openSUSE bug report a few days ago, I noticed
that the granularity of the components against which bugs can be
filled is quite low.
For example,
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=299657
Any bug in any GNOME-related products can be filed only against the
GNOME component.
While this streamlines the number of components, would it not be
easier for package maintainers if each source RPM has its own
component in Bugzilla?
