They now maintain each release for two releases + 1 month. So F-7 will be EOD 
1 month after F-9 is released.

Wrt. updates I'm not sure what their policy is - or if they have any general 
policy - but afaik they upgrade versions for glibc, KDE and other stuff 
officially.
