Today Robert Scheck (rsc), a Fedora contributer told me on #opensuse-de
that the following information is wrong:
http://en.opensuse.org/Frequently_Asked_Questions#Fedora_basically_forces_you_to_update_to_the_newest_version_to_stay_current.2C_even_for_security_updates._How_does_openSUSE_handle_this.3F

It seems like Fedora also provides updates as backports, retaining
backwards compatibility (just like on openSUSE).

Could this be fixed ? Or if someone disagrees, please reply and clarify ;)

Thanks
